Robotics Club

The Robotics Club at DeMatha Catholic High School is a competitive team that participates in a nationwide robotics tournament, where groups of up to 10 students collaborate to build, program, and operate a robot capable of completing various challenges. These head-to-head matches with other high school teams often involve tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy weights across a playing field or launching game pieces into nets or goals. Each year brings new and unique challenges, keeping the competition exciting and demanding. DeMatha's Robotics Club has a history of success, earning awards for both high match scores and innovative robot designs. It's a great opportunity for students to learn and apply engineering, programming, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
