Quiz Bowl

The Quiz Bowl Club at DeMatha Catholic High School is a fast-paced, competition-style activity where students test their knowledge on a wide range of topics, including history, science, math, politics, and geography. Club members compete in various tournaments hosted by other schools and participate in the prestigious It's Academic television show, where they face off against two other schools for a chance to advance to the playoff rounds. In addition to competing, the club also hosts an annual Quiz Bowl competition for middle schools in the Archdiocese of Washington, promoting academic excellence and friendly competition. The Quiz Bowl Club is perfect for students who love learning, quick thinking, and working as a team in an exciting environment.
